Nate was a great friend. he was funny, smart and lit up the room. Science was always a great class to be in with him. it would've been a drag because it was the end of the day and we were all just trying to get through the last period. I send condolences to his girlfriend and his family and everyone he inspired to be a better person. I knew if he changed me, he changed alot of people. Going through life wnt be the same knowing he never got to experience the same things we get to when we get older. It's always a tragedy for someone to loose a friend. But everything happens for a reason. Maybe it was to open our eyes to how any second something horrible can happen and we can't do anything about it. He will never be forgotten. Ever.

In Loving Memory of Nathan M. Folley I'll lend you for a little time a child of Mine," He said, "For you to love the while he lives, And mourn for when he's dead. It may be six or seven years or twenty-two or three, But will you, till I call him back, Take care of him for Me? He'll bring his charms to gladden you, And should his stay be brief, You'll have his lovely memories as solace for your grief. I cannot promise he will stay, Since all from earth return, But there are lessons taught down thereI want this child to learn. I've looked this wide world overIn My search for teachers true, And from the throngs that crowd life's lanes, I have selected you; Now will you give him all your love, Not think the labor vain, Nor hate Me when I come to call And take him back again? I fancied that I heard them say, Dear Lord, Thy will be done, For all the joy Thy child shall bring, The risk of grief we'll run. We'll shelter him with tenderness, We'll love him while we may, And for the happiness we've known, Forever grateful stay. But should the angels call for him much sooner than we planned, We'll brave the bitter grief that comes and try to understand.

May God be with Nathan's family and friends to ease their pain. May Nathan be embraced by His love.

Posted: 9/10/2010 by Darlene Wooster of Derry, NH,

Dear Karen, Jakob and Coach Mike, I cannot imagine trying to make sense of this tragedy. Even though I met him briefly, it’s clear from the messages of his friends, that he had a very positive influence on their lives. This positive effect in their memories is Nathans way of living on. Lucky are those who shared his friendship. We had a moment of silence at practice on Wednesday, we talked about Nathan & Jakob. Some kids embraced each other to help ease the pain. I sincerely hope this time of enormous turbulence and confusion is not too harsh, and if there is anything we can do, please pick up the phone. Sincerely, Bob LeBoeuf

My son, Primo, did know Nate. He met him last year when they were freshman together. He had a class with him and they hung out after school. He had first period class with him this year, they sat next to each other, which Primo loved. After the wake I told Primo he didn't have to go to the funeral the next day and he told me that of course he had to go because "Nate was his friend". Primo didn't sleep or eat for days ..... he wept at the funeral like never before ..... even after losing a friend, an uncle, and a grandmother in the last few years. I tell you this so you know how much Nate touched others lives .....even those you don't know ... that he continues to touch their lives and will always be missed and remembered. Love, the Lombardi's (Karen and my son, Primo)
