Matthew J. Bigelow, 29, of Medway, died peacefully at his home on Monday, August 23, 2010. He was the son of John L. Bigelow III and Cindy (Lowrey) Bigelow of Medway.
Born in Framingham on January 3, 1981, he was a lifelong resident of Medway.
Matthew worked in construction and landscaping in the Medway area.
He was an avid New England sports fan and liked fishing. Matthew cherished time spent with his family, especially his niece and nephews.
Besides his parents, he is survived by his brothers, Scott Bigelow of Bellingham and Dennis Bigelow of Woonsocket, RI, his grandparents John L., Jr. and Dorothy Bigelow of Medway and his niece and nephews, Dylan, Jayna and Cody.
He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was the grandson of the late John and Marion Lowrey.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service on Saturday, August 28 at the Medway Village Church, 170 Village St. in Medway at 10 a.m.
Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in West Medway.
Calling hours will be held on Friday from 5 – 8 p.m. at the Ginley-Crowley Funeral Home, 3 Barber St. in Medway.
