Born in Palermo, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Francesco and Lucrezia (Araldi) Carollo. Devoted mother of Franco Ciambra and his wife Nina of Palermo, Italy, Rosanna Giovenco and her late husband Pino of Revere, Sergio Ciambra and his wife Mafalda of Rome, Italy, Maurizio Ciambra and his wife Morena of Winthrop, Ella Maslak and her husband Walter of Revere, Maria Giovanna Roy and her husband Richard of Winthrop, and the late Antonino Ciambra. Dear sister of Tony Carollo and his wife Antonia of Moultonborough, NH and the late Nina Lanzarone, Giovanna Amato, Rosetta Gerardi and Tonuccia Beninati. Also survived by her adored 14 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Maurice W. Kirby Funeral Home 210 Winthrop St. WINTHROP, on Friday, June 18, at 9am. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. John the Evangelist Church at 10am. Relatives and friends are invited. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett. Visiting hours Thurs only, from 4-8pm.
