METHUEN – Dorothy E. (Lavoie) Rabito 69 of Methuen died unexpectedly Tuesday May 11, 2010 at her home in Methuen, MA.
Born in Roxbury, MA and educated in Methuen, she was the daughter of Charles and Luminosa (Lafond) Lavoie. She was a technician with Curtis Wright Company in Littleton, MA and was a parishioner at St. Lucy’s Church in Methuen. Her family recalls how she enjoyed sewing, gardening, crocheting and quilting.
She is survived by her husband Steven D. Rabito of Methuen, MA. She also leaves her children Mark St. Cyr and his wife Angela of Kentucky, James Rabito of Tyngsboro, MA, Steven Rabito, Jr and his wife Dawn Marie, Matthew Rabito , Kara Leigh Avellan and her husband Carlos all of Methuen, MA and Darrell Rabito of North Andover, MA.
Dorothy is also survived by her brothers and sisters Ron, Paul, Janet, Judy and Carroll.
9 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
ARRANGEMENTS: In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to St. Jude’s Children Hospital 501 St, Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1905. Family and friends may call on Friday 9:30a.m. – 11:30a.m. at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Hone, Inc., 233 Lawrence Street Methuen, MA 01844. Funeral services will follow at 11:30a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will take place at a later date at the families convenience.
