Mrs. Janet M. Demers, 61, of 650 Sullivan Street, Berlin, NH passed away on Thursday April 15, 2010 at her home. She was born in Berlin on July 23, 1948 the daughter of Thomas and Elizabeth (Alimandi) Roy and was a lifelong resident. Janet was a graduate of Berlin High School. She had been employed by Coos County Nursing Home as a LNA for many years, was a member of Good Shepherd Parish and loved spending time with her grandsons and her family.
Members of the family include her husband Alfred J. Demers of Berlin, NH; 1 daughter Keri Demers and companion Tiffany Riley of Berlin, NH; 1 son Alfred Demers and wife Debbie of Pembroke, NH; 2 grandchildren Jake and Samuel; 1 stepdaughter Leatha Bennett; 1 stepson Eddie Demers; 2 brothers Thomas Roy of Keene, NH and Robert Roy of Berlin, NH; 3 sisters Louise Corrigan of Berlin, NH, Sharon Letarte of Berlin, NH and Elaine Moreau of Berlin, NH; many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents and a brother Richard Roy.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday April 21, 2010 at 11 AM at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish. There will be no calling hours. The Bryant Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
