Mansfield, Ma, USA
To Jeanne, Jesse, and Austin, The whole Bouck family's thoughts and prayers are with you and will be for a long time. John was one of those guys you just loved to be around. He did so much for not only his family, but for his friends too, and never asked for anything in return. He was a true team player and I witnessed that firsthand when Austin became part of my team this year. The game is not all about basketball, but about how well the team acts as a team. John made sure that not only the kids were a together unit, but that the parents and coaches were too with the away game pizza parties. I loved getting those emails from John (all in caps of course) telling us about a pizza joint near the away teams gym that we were going to meet at afterwards. I truly looked forward to those times and listening to John tell his stories. He touched the lives of every kid he met. They all liked being around him. A wonderful human being with the biggest heart I know. I will miss you John! Bruce

My heart goes out to the Cooney family. John was a friend of many years ago. He was one of the funnies, smartest people I knew. My prayers are with the family. For you Job Conney: For it is in giving that we recieve; it is in pardoning that we are pardoned and it is by dying that we are born to eternal life. (St. Francis of Assisi) You will be missed be many!
