William `Bill` John Zimmerman, 63, Clarksville passed away suddenly, Monday, March 29, 2010, at Gateway Medical Center. A celebration of life service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday at Neal-Tarpley Chapel with Deacon Dominick Azzara officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday and from 11 a.m. until the hour of the service Friday at the funeral home. Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Bill was born November 12, 1946 in Wisconsin Rapids, WI. He was preceded in death by his father, Eugene J. Zimmerman. Mr. Zimmerman was a Public Health Environmentalist with the State of Tennessee. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. He was a veteran of the US Army. Survivors include his mother, Margaret E. Zimmerman, Waukesha, WI; wife, Phyllis Bibb Zimmerman, Clarksville; three sons: Jason Robert (Traci)Zimmerman, Green Bay, WI; Jaime Paul (Julia) Zimmerman, O'Fallon, IL; and Jeremy W. (Stephanie) Zimmerman, O'Fallon, IL; daughter Jasmine O. (Ramon) Salinar, Clarksville; his loving twin brother, Robert (Linda) Zimmerman, Clarksville and brother Thomas (Ann) Zimmerman, Waukesha, WI; ten grandchildren: Campbell, Gabriel, Trenton, Emma Rae, Logan, Isaac, Tristan, Wyatt, and twins Max and Gavin; seven nieces and nephews and his many beloved four legged family members. Bill will be sadly missed by all who loved him. His untimely death will affect many people whose paths he crossed.
