Marcia Walsh, 86, of Mystic, passed away at home on February 27th, surrounded by her loving family.
She is survived by her children, Valerie A. Walsh of Mystic, Melanie (Deedee) Walsh of Stonington, Rick Walsh of Miami, Florida, and siblings, Lizabeth Scott of Ca., Justine Birdsall of N.Y., and Augustin Matzo of Mich. She was predeceased by two siblings, John Matzo and Helen Minck.
Marcia was both an accomplished pianist and poet, and taught piano for over 50 years. She released a CD of her outstanding poetry and piano works entitled, "Take A Walk With Me" in 2008. Marcia, known for her energetic and generous spirit, will be deeply missed by the many lives she touched.
