Obituary

John Caizza, 57, a longtime resident of Norton, died at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston on Tuesday, February 23 after a brief illness. He was the devoted husband of Mary C. (Feeney) Caizza. Born in Winthrop, he was a graduate of Southeastern Regional Vocational Technical High School in Easton, Class of 1970. He was a resident of Norton for the past 33 years after living in Stoughton for several years. He was in the U.S. Navy and a Veteran of the Vietnam Era. Mr. Caizza was a documentation coordinator for Plymouth Rubber in Canton for 33 years before working at Pops Fine Wines in Easton for the past 2 years. In his free time, he had a passion for traveling and was an avid outdoorsman. He was a member of the Mass Audubon Society.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Caizza was the loving son of Theresa (Sestito) Caizza of Readville and Stoughton and the late Anthony Caizza. He is the beloved son-in-law of Daniel and Mary Feeney of Stoughton. He is also survived by his best friend, Hugh MacKinnon and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt.27) Stoughton on Saturday, February 27 at 8 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at St. James Church, Stoughton at 9 AM. Visiting Hours Friday 4-7 PM. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in John’s name may be made to the Mass Audubon Society, 208 South Great Rd., Lincoln, MA 01773.
