Marsha Ross Davis, 65, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Friday, January 29, 2010 at Tift Regional Medical Center.
Memorial services will be held 2 P.M. Sunday, January 31, 2010, at Central United Methodist Church with the Rev. B.J. Funk and the Rev. Robert Couey officiating. Patsy Kemp will deliver the eulogy. The family will receive friends following the service.
Ms. Davis was born December 18, 1944 in Montezuma, Georgia to the late William E. and Florence Willis Ross. She was a 1963 graduate of Irwin County High School and a former resident of Ocilla, Roswell, Covington, Macon and Tampa, FL. Ms. Davis graduated from ABAC and Valdosta State College with a BS in Education. She was a former claims representative for Hartford Insurance Company. Ms. Davis was a member of Central United Methodist Church.
She is survived by two sons: Jamie (Tracy) Davis of Blakely and Sam (Talina) Davis of Marietta granddaughters: Savanna Davis and soon to be born granddaughter, Alex Davis; sister: Delilah Ann Donaldson of Sylvester; nephews: William (Kiely) Donaldson, Will & John Donaldson, Jack (Monica) Donaldson and Declan Donaldson.
