Billy Eugene Love, 77, of Mystic, Georgia died Saturday, January 23, 2010, at his residence.
A memorial service will be held at 5 P.M. Wednesday, January 27, 2010, at Mystic Baptist Church with the Rev. Sonny Pate and the Rev. Jim McDuffie officiating. The family will be at the residence of the deceased, 431 Laurel Road, Fitzgerald, GA. Visitation will be held at Mystic Baptist Church Social Hall from 3:00 until the funeral hour.
Mr. Love was born May 18, 1932 to the late John Issac and Bessie McCook Love in Mystic, GA. A retired truck driver for Tolleson Lumber Company for 43 years, he was a veteran of the United States Air Force serving during the Korean War Era. After retirement, he was owner/operator of Over The Road Escort Company. Mr. Love was a member of Mystic Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Helon T. Love of Mystic, GA; Daughters: Melba Love (Jim Charnitski) of Newnan, GA and Connie (Bo) Cox of Mystic; Grandchildren, Billi Gibbs, Amy Cox and Jeremy (Sabrina) Cox; Great grandchildren: Scotti Roberts, Jase Warren, Griffin Cox, and Nathan Cox; Cousins: Wilbur Golden, Lebannon, MO and Charles McCook of Taylor, FL. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, Jack Love and granddaughter, Wendy Cox Roberts.
