Noland, John V. Jr. of Plymouth, formerly of Marshfield, at his home Jan 17, surrounded by his family at the age of 68. Beloved husband of Bonnie (Humphries) Noland. Dear father of John V. Noland III and his wife Denise of Kingston, Lola Rizzotto and her husband Robert of Plymouth and Lisa Lamarre and her husband Pierre of Frederick, MD. Grandfather of Kyle, Nathaniel and Emilee Rizzotto, Derik and Andrea Noland and Stephan, Sarah and Sophia Lamarre. Brother of the late Marjorie Merritt. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
John was born in Weymouth and grew up in Rockland. He was a long time resident of Marshfield before moving to Plymouth in 2004. John was a retired Pressman for Halliday Lithograph. After his retirement he worked at the Marshfield High School for 10 years. John was a member of the Marshfield Elks Lodge 2494, American Legion-Plymouth, VFW-Plymouth, Unity Club-Plymouth and the Weymouth United Masonic Lodge. He also served in the US Army.
A funeral service will be held in the MacDonald Funeral Home 1755 Ocean, Rte 139 Marshfield on Thursday Jan 21, at 11:00 am.
Visiting hours will be on Wednesday from 4 to 8 pm.
