Obituary

Taunton – Kerri l. “Little Puddy” Kelsey-Reed 33 died Sunday January 10. She was the loving and devoted wife of 3 years to Patrick Reed.

Kerri met Pat while working at Wendy’s where Pat had been her manager. They dated for more than ten years before they married. Kerri was a truly sweet person and was always in a good mood, she enjoyed laughing and joking with those she came in contact with and truly cared about each and everyone.

Born in Quincy and raised in Rockland she was the daughter of Mary (Mulhern) Kelsey of Rockland and the late Allan Kelsey, and a graduate of Rockland High Class of 1995.

Kerri attended Eastern Nazarene College, Bridgewater State College and Massasoit Community College where she played basketball and soccer and was named All New England. She enjoyed competitive sports of all kinds and was a huge Celtic and Red Sox fan.

She was a dedicated postal worker at the Brockton Post Office for five years and was fortunate enough to work with her sister and brother-in-law everyday. She loved her job and all of her customers.

She was a collector of all things “Tigger”, her favorite Disney character, and she loved her dogs Taz and Goliath.

In addition to her loving husband Pat and her mother she is survived by her twin sister Kimberly Kelsey and her husband Scott of East Taunton, her brothers Christopher and Jeffrey Kelsey both of Rockland, her in laws Ken and Ann Reed of Whitman, her sister in laws Barbara and husband Lowell, Debra and David, her brother in law Bill and his wife Liz, her aunts and uncles; Karen and Fred Lamb, Jimmy Mulhern, Pat and Patty, Kathy, Arthur, John, Pauline and Dennis, and Donna. She is also survived by her loving cousins Julie and Peter McGoldrick, Brian and Lina Lam and her nieces and nephews Collin, Matthew, Kristina, Nicholas and Brandon.

Her funeral will be held Thursday January 14 at 8:45 AM from the Blanchard Funeral Chapel Plymouth Street (Rt. 58 at the rotary) Whitman, followed by a mass at 10 AM in the Resurrection Church, 1057 Main Street, Hingham. Visiting hours will be held Wednesday January 13 from 2 – 7:30 PM. Donations in her name may be made to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute 10 Brookline Place West / Floor 6 Brookline, MA 02445-9924.
