Obituary

Patrick M. Eisan Jr., 82, passed away on December 17th, 2009 at the Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Medford. He was born in Charlestown on December 9th, 1927 to his parents Patrick M. and Florence (Eastman) Eisan. Patrick was raised in Saugus and Malden, graduating from Malden High School. He has been a resident of Medford for most of his life. Patrick served his country honorably in the United States Navy during the Korean War. For over 30 years, he worked for the Commonwealth Gas Company, retiring as the Superintendant of Gas Supply. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and the Mystic Wellington Yacht Club in Medford. Patrick was an avid fisherman who also enjoyed the game of golf. He is survived by his wife Joan A. (Mailin) Eisan; by his children, Patrick D. Eisan and his wife Debra of Medford, Linda M. Eisan of Virginia Beach, VA, Peter M. Eisan and his wife Kathleen of Salem, NH, Sharon A. Tarani and her husband Arthur of Medford, Lisa J. Cole and her husband Paul of Alton Bay, NH and Paul A. Eisan and his wife Tina of Salem, NH; by his grandchildren, Arty, Ashley, Kaitley, Peter Jr., Jake, Shelby Lynn, Harley and Max; and by his sisters, Theresa Couturier of East Waterboro, ME, Mary Irving of Medford and Jeanne Stetson of Socorra, NM. Along with his parents, Patrick was predeceased by his brothers Edson, Sinclair and Robert Eisan. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral from the Breslin Funeral Home, 610 Pleasant St., Malden on Tuesday December 22nd at 9 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at St. Francis of Assisi Church in Medford at 10 AM. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Monday December 21st from 4-8 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the American Diabetes Association, P.O.
