Obituary

In North Andover Patricia Jean (“PJ”) Magliochetti, daughter of the late Elizabeth McGinnis of Malden and William Jenkins of Australia, died at home after a long courageous battle with Colon Cancer.
PJ graduated from Malden High School. She attended Northeastern University and Boston School of Floral Design. She will be remembered strongly as a philanthropist and for her highly recognizable floral creations.
When she was not giving of herself or creating wonderful arrangements, she was a serial entrepreneur financing many startup companies in the technology and health care fields. She will be remembered in those endeavors for her candidness and her tireless energy. Later in life, her passion was painting with watercolors and architectural design. She was truly a renaissance woman. She will also be remembered fondly for her wonderful parties in her backyard and her personal strength and courage.
“It was always so obvious with PJ that she loved what she was doing, and her very presence made you feel so welcomed,” stated a close friend.
In addition to Frank Magliochetti, she is survived by her two loving daughters, Laura Ashley and Olivia Rose Magliochetti of North Andover; Three sisters Kathleen Critch, Elizabeth McGinnis, and Dawn Jenkins; a brother William Jenkins. She will be lovingly remembered by all of her friends, especially Jackie Lucas and Ann Flink.
Her Funeral Mass was celebrated in St. Augustine Church, 43 Essex Street, Andover, Saturday at Noon. Many relatives and friends respectfully attended. Calling hours were held in the Burke-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 390 North Main St., Andover, Saturday, prior to the mass, from 9 to 11 AM. Entombment was Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
