Methuen, MA- Pauline L. (Auger) Michaud, 68, died Sunday November 8,2009 at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston after a courageous but brief sickness.
Born in Lawrence on August 16, 1941, Pauline was the daughter of Andre and Blanche (Fortin) Auger. She was a graduate of St. Anne’s High School and received her bachelor’s degree from UMass Lowell and her Master’s from Boston University.
For many years Pauline worked as a Social Worker for the State in Salem, MA however, for the last 20 years she has worked alongside her husband in their Food Brokerage business.
One of Pauline’s biggest joys was to travel and she always looked forward to the Annual Family Cruise. Family was a big part of Pauline’s life and she wanted to share that with others. She was deeply involved in sponsoring foster children from around the world.
Recently Pauline celebrated her 50th Wedding Anniversary with family in Boston.
Pauline will never be forgotten and will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be immensely missed by her husband of 50 years, Martin R. Michaud, two daughters, Darlene Michaud of Hookset, NH, Kathy and her husband Jason Thomas of Windham, NH, her two sons, Marc Michaud of Alta Loma,CA and Michael Michaud of Windham, NH. She will also be sadly missed by her 11 grandchildren, Amanda and Tyler Skladony of Hookset, NH, Taylor and Jake Thomas of Windham, NH, Candace, Cody and Clayton Michaud of Alta Loma, CA, and Michael, Corey, Nicole and Ashleigh Michaud of Windham, NH.
ARRANGEMENTS: Family and friends may pay their respects on Wednesday, November 11, 2009 from 5-8:15 PM at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home 233 Lawrence St., Methuen. A Funeral Service will take place following the calling hours, at the Funeral Home at 8:30 PM.
