Robert A. Hanlon, age 75, of Salem, NH, died Thursday Sept. 17th at the Parkland Medical Center, Derry, NH.
Robert was born and educated in Lawrence, MA graduating from Central Catholic High School. He received his Bachelor’s degree from St. Anselm’s College and his Master’s Degree in education from Salem State College. He also received his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree from the Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport Iowa. Robert served in the US Army during the Korean War.
Robert practiced Chiropractic in Salem, NH for 55 years, the last 11 with his son Robert. He also was an administrator at the Greater Lawrence Vocational Technical High School in Lawrence, MA. He was a member of St. Joseph Church in Salem. His greatest joy was spending time with his family.
Robert was predeceased by his wife Patricia A. (Bolan) Hanlon, who passed away 3 months ago.
He is survived by his 2 sons: Robert M. & his Wife Sheila Hanlon of Salem, NH
Brian E. & his Wife Adriene Hanlon of McLean, VA
2 Grandchildren: Molly & Maegan Hanlon of Salem, NH
A funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, Sept. 22nd at 10 AM at St. Joseph Church, Salem, NH. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery Salem.
Calling hours will be held Monday, Sept. 21st from 4-8 PM at the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main Street, Salem, NH.
