Obituary

James Robertson, 70 of Walpole died August 25 in Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro.
Born in Walpole, April 28, 1939, the son of the late Alexander and Alice (LaLiberty) Robertson, Mr. Robertson was a lifelong Walpole resident.
Mr. Robertson was a 1959 graduate of Walpole High School.
He had worked at the Walpole Stop and Shop for several years before retiring. He had previously worked at Allied Auto and the Outline Company.
Mr. Robertson served in the Navy during the Viet Nam War. He was a member of the Sharon American Legion and the Walpole VFW.
Jim enjoyed fishing and hunting.
He is survived by, his brother Alexander L. Robertson Jr. of Macclenny, Florida and his sisters Dorothy Robinson of Deltona, Florida and Alice “Peg” Downey and Paula Miller of Foxboro.
He was the brother of the late Kenneth Robertson.
Mr. Robertson is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
His funeral service will be held on Saturday August 29 in the Ginley Funeral Home, 892 Main St. in Walpole at 10:00 a.m.
Burial will be private.
Visiting hours will be on Friday from 5-8 p.m.
