I worked with Maureen on several occasions when she held a color analyst position at Xerox and was very impressed with her technical and interpersonal skills and how she was always there to help and support when needed. She always went above and beyond to ensure her customers and everyone around her were very satisfied. It is really a sad day for me.

Paula, I am so sorry to hear about Maureen. I worked with her at Xerox and she was a great person. She was always there if I needed help with something and we used to talk about the game Freecell. My prayers and thoughts are with you and your family. Bonnie Watts

Dear Paula and The Richards Family, I am so very sorry for your loss, Maureen was one of kind. Funny and intelligent; stern yet understanding she was a wonderful person to work with daily and even better when things got crazy. Paula, I'm sending you a BIG hug to help you through this. Be as strong as you can and rely on friends, family and God for the rest. Our deepest condolences, Mike Pantano and family

I am deeply saddened by this news. Maureen was a remarkable person for whom I had great respect, admiration, and a true fondness. I had only spoken with her several times since I moved West, and am sorry to say that it has been quite some time since we chatted. I know we all feel this great loss, but I most especially want to offer my sincere condolences and prayers to Paula, and to the rest of Maureen's family.

I was shocked and saddened when I got the email this AM. I really enjoyed working with her over the years. I looked forward to seeing Maureen come in for her almost annual update on the market and life. A few weeks ago I thought of her as she had not come in yet this summer. It was always fun and interesting to catch up with her. I will miss her, she was such a nice person. Sincerely, Robin Miller

Dear Paula, Bob and I are so sorry to hear about Maureen. Even though we haven’t seen you in a few years, I see Maureen every day. My screensaver is a picture of her, Paulette, Barbara and I holding up the “ESRUC EHT ESREVER” sign at Fenway that made it into many newspapers across the country in 2003. I was recovering from cancer and I will never forget how Maureen made that day so special for me and for so many people. She will always be in my heart.

Dear Paula and Maureen's family, All three of us are shocked and sad to learn that Maureen is gone. We knew she was not well but we did not realize how serious it was. We missed her big presence at the block party this year, her lively conversation and great in-your-face presence, which we thought added a lot to our neighborhood. Surely she had much more to give, and what a pity that that time was taken from her, from our neighborhood, and from all of you. Please accept our deepest sympathy in your sad loss and difficult time. Sincerely and respectfully, John, Hilary and Alyson Hopkins Winslow Street neighbors

Dear Paula, I first met Maureen at UL, when I was installing some equipment. Though the years, as out paths crossed, it was always a joy to work together and to talk together. She was always there for me, especially when I needed to 'vent'. I enjoyed working with her at xerox and knowing her as one of my friends. I will miss her. My sincere condolences to you and your family. Nick Alex

Dear Paula, Aunt Peggy, Kevin and the Galvins- We are all deeply saddened to learn the news of Maureen's passing. Our paths had not crossed in many years, but I enjoyed re-connecting with her in West Springfield in late 2006. Maureen's humor and strength seemed unchanged from her youth. Our love and prayers are with all of you tomorrow. Kathy, David, Jack and Anna Claire
