CONDOLENCES (GuestBook)

To Sandra, Kristen, Nicholas and Hayley, my sincerest condolences. I met Dan when I was just a child as he was a close friend of my uncle, Ralph Cabana, at Northeastern. We have kept in touch via Christmas cards through the years, and I think that says so much about how Dan felt about the ties with people in his life, no matter how small the connection may have seemed to others. I am very sorry for your loss.

Dear Sandie, Nick, Kristen & Hayley, I can't begin to tell you how sad I am about Dan's passing and not being able to attend his service. I think you know how much I thought of Dan – he was such a brave and exceptional man. It was so obvious that Dan loved his family above everything else and I know he would want you all to live happy and complete lives. If there is anything I can do to help you right now, please just ask. Sharon

We have the fondest memories of Dan as he coached our son in Little League. Dan was always a patient coach who enjoyed helping children learn about teamwork on the ball fields of Shrewsbury. Our prayers are with his family at this difficult time.

Sandie, Kristen, Nick and Hayley - That was a great service for a great man. You shared your strength, your grief and your faith with all of us there, and we are better people for having known and loved Dan and all of you. Someday I will share stories of the college days Dan and I experienced --- but maybe it should wait until the kids are older! He was a wonderful friend and, as you all showed today, a wonderful husband and dad. The thoughts of many of us will be with you for a long time and I hope you can take strength from that knowledge.
