Obituary

Benjamin Giovangelo, 18 of Medway chose to end his life on April 16 at his home.
He was the son of Thomas M. and Judith (Hopkins) Giovangelo.
Born in Wareham, April 10, 1991, Mr. Giovangelo had lived in West Roxbury for several years prior to moving to Medway 10 years ago.
Benjamin was an eleventh grade student at Medway High School.
He had previously been home schooled and attended Sudbury Valley School in Framingham.
Benjamin loved to cook, play video games, go paintballing and fishing but most of all being with his friends.
He had worked at Dunkin Donuts for a year.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brother, Michael Giovangelo and sister, Jenna Giovangelo both of Medway.
He is also survived by his grandmother, Barbara Hopkins of West Roxbury, many aunts and uncles and his beloved yorkie, Max.
His funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 22 in the First Universalist Unitarian Church, 262 Chestnut St. in Franklin at 11:00 a.m.
Burial will be private.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, April 21 from 3-8 p.m. in the Ginley-Crowley Funeral Home, 3 Barber St. in Medway.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in his memory to the Benjamin Giovangelo Memorial Fund c/o Charles River Bank, 70 Main St., Medway, MA 02053.
