BARTLETT, Malcolm W."Buddy"- Of Chelsea, March 31st. Devoted husband of Linda M. (Escott) and the late Jennie P. (Borrazzo). Devoted father of Bruce Bartlett of Chelsea, Terryann Bartlett of Londonderry, NH, Bryan Bartlett of Salem, NH, Kristin Botchie of Swampscott, Colleen Lewis of Peabody, Thomas Griffin of Lebanon, NH, Malorie Bartlett and Courtney Bartlett both of Chelsea. Dear brother of Robert Bartlett of Wareham, Ruth Cummings of Nottingham, NH, Lilly Wetherbee of Saugus and the late Anne Cummings and Harry Bartlett. Lovingly survived by 16 grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend a Funeral Service in the Smith Funeral Home, 125 Washington Avenue, CHELSEA on Saturday morning, April 4th at 11 AM. Visiting Hours in the Smith Funeral Home on Friday from 4-8 PM. Services will conclude with interment at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett. Expressions of sympathy in his name may be made to the Malcolm W. Bartlett Scholarship Fund, c/o Chelsea Employees Federal Credit Union, Room 205, 500 Broadway, Chelsea, MA 02150. Late United States Air Force Veteran, retired Chelsea Firefighter, former educator and head of the Carpentry Dept. at Northeast Metropolitan Regional Vocational School, member of the Chelsea Yacht Club and the Palestine Lodge AF & AM of Everett for over 50 years.
Born in Everett and living in Chelsea most of his life, Malcolm passed away at home Tuesday evening at the age of 78.
