Obituary



Ryan P. Orcutt 16 years old of Brockton, died Friday evening March 20, 2009 at the Signature Healthcare/Brockton Hospital from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. Ryan was born and raised in Brockton the loving son of Diane C. (Kelly) and Lt. Roger K. Orcutt, Jr. Brockton FD. He was currently a sophomore in the plumbing program at Southeastern Regional Vocational High School where he excelled in sports. Ryan was a member of the school’s varsity baseball and wrestling teams. His love for sports began at a young age in Brockton. Ryan was captain of the Junior Boxers Pop Warner Football A Team. He was a talented pitcher/catcher for Lucini Motors in the Colt League, Hawkeye Athletic Club Legion Baseball and the Sea Dogs in the Big League where he was a teammate with his two brothers Kenny and Bobby and won the championship.
In his free time Ryan enjoyed hanging out with his friends and social networking on Face Book.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his devoted brothers Roger “Kenny” Orcutt, III of Brockton; PFC Robert Orcutt, USMC, Camp Lejeune, NC and sister Kristen Orcutt of Brockton. He was the grandson of Roger and Grace Orcutt of Brockton and the late William and Katherine Kelly. He also leaves many aunts, uncle, cousins and friends.
Funeral from the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont St. (Rte 123) Brockton Thursday at 8 am. Funeral Mass in Christ the King/St. Colman Parish at 9 am. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery W. Bridgewater. Visiting hours Wednesday 4-8 pm. In lieu of flowers please consider donations in Ryan’s name to the Michael J.
