Robert C. “Rob” Farquharson, Jr. 25, formerly of Easton lost his battle with the horrible disease of addiction on March 13. He had tried so hard but the disease was stronger and took a beautiful life away from his loving family and friends.
Rob was always busy helping other people. He touched the lives of so many people throughout his own life, with his great big beautiful smile and the respect and polite manner he showed to everyone.
Rob was a graduate of Southeastern Regional Vo-Tech, and worked as a machinist, and fishing and motorcycles were his hobbies.
Rob will be extremely missed by those he left behind; his mother Donna (Corriveau) Farquharson of Taunton, his father Robert C. Farquharson, Sr. of Easton, his sister Liza Farquharson of Stoughton, his niece Lily Farquharson who called Rob “Kunkel”, his grandmother Dorothy Corriveau of Rockland and his aunts, uncles, cousins and his many good friends.
His service will be held Friday March 20 at 8 PM in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel Plymouth Street (Rt. 58 at the rotary) Whitman. Visiting hours will be held prior to the service from 4-8 PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Learn to Cope Box 60 Raynham, MA 02767 a support group that helps families, with family members suffering with addictions.
