Obituary

Aurele “Speed” Bellerose, 85, of Manchester, died January 25, 2009, after a lengthy illness.
He was born in Manchester, November 20, 1923, and was the son of William and Hedwedge (Martel) Bellerose. Following completion of high school, he entered the United States Army, serving during WWII. In that time he was part of an anti-aircraft outfit that saw action at the battle of the bulge. Following his honorable discharge, he went to work in the family woodworking business, Bellerose & Sons and later for Davison Construction.
His forte was cabinet making and many of his works adorn the homes of his family and friends. He will be remembered as a perfectionist who could not sit still, ready to assist in any way he could. He enjoyed baseball, especially the Boston Red Sox, his children, grand children, and great grand daughter.
Family members include his wife of 63 years, Theresa (Prudhomme) Bellerose, of Manchester; his daughters, Jeannine, Lorraine, Lucille; his grandchildren; Kevin, Steven, Ryan, Megan; great granddaughter, Lily. He was predeceased by a grandson Danny Glennon, a brother Roland Bellerose, and a sister, Jeannette Lavigne.

Services were private and at the convenience of the family.
Flowers are to be omitted.
Burial took place at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 474 Goffstown Rd. Manchester.
