Lucille (Allen) Remsen of Needham and a lifelong summer resident of Deer Isle, ME died on Jan 3, 2009 at the Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital West in Boston. She was 92.
Born in Boston she had lived in Needham for many years and graduated from Needham High in 1934 and Westbrook Jr. College in Maine. She was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church in Needham.
Wife of the late Edman M. Remsen. She is survived by her son Lance M. and his wife Mary Jean of Needham and her grandchildren Christopher of Needham and Rebecca Berk and her husband Matthew of Boston.
A funeral service will be held on Wed Jan 7 at 10 AM in the First Baptist Church Chapel 858 Great Plain Ave Needham. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Visiting hours will be in the Eaton Funeral Home 1351 Highland Ave. NEEDHAM on Tues 5-7 PM. Interment will follow at Needham Cemetery.
