Laura came into my life for just a short period of time, but man oh man, it was such an intense period and such a precious blessing. She was so brave and she passed in peace fully knowing the love of God. I watched her open her heart and lay down the burdens that she carried with her for most of her life. She finally gave them all to God and although her earthly body wasn't "cured", her heart was healed and she was fully ready to meet her maker. I thank God for putting Laura in my life. I now pray for her beautiful children: Molly, Paul, John & Matthew that they feel her presence and know beyond a shadow of a doubt that they were loved and cherished. I hope every Christmas they realize and appreciate the gift they got for having Laura as their mother.

Dear May Family, I was so sorry to hear of the passing of Laura, this morning. My mother, Nancy Poust, of Lebanon, PA is a long time friend of Laura's parents and grandparents. I have not seen Laura in many years, since our days enjoying the pool at the Lebanon Country Club, but I remember her as friendly and kind. Since I was about 4 years older than Laura, we used to give her some of my nicer "outgrown" clothes (until she was bigger than I). One year, Laura and her mom took the Christmas card that I'd sent Laura and burned the edges of it for a rustic look and then mounted it onto a wooden frame as gift to me. It's currently hanging just above my head on the wall, as I write this note. It's one of my favorite keepsakes. My deepest sympathy to you all of you. Marsha Poust

Laura was such a beautiful person, from the day I first met her in the Wed Morning Group I wanted to be her. She was beautiful on the outside and she had a beautiful spirit. I consider myself blessed to have been a small part of her life and I will always remember her . Her good will live on through everyone in our group. Sincere Condolences for her loss.

Medway, MA,
We are so sorry to hear about Laura. James is a classmate of Matthew's, but we only had a chance to meet Laura a few times during the school year. She was very warm, friendly and likeable. Sadly, we did not know of her illness until today. We are so sorry for all of you, but especially Matthew. Please know that we are praying for you and that you have many school friends who want to help you through this difficult time.

Paul and kids (Molly, Paul, John, and Matthew), Joe, Sandy, & Chip: We were stunned to hear the sad news and we are so very sorry for your loss. It was only a few months ago we were chatting with Laura about her son's developing interest in sailing. We know she will be terribly missed by all of you as well as her many friends, including those of us who came to know her at Manor Estates. Sincerely, Andy & Pat Connolly (of Manor Estates)

Dear Sandra and Joe, I've been been traveling in Asia and got word of your very terrible loss in Beijing. I just wanted to tell you how sad we are to hear of the passing your daughter. It doesn't seem right that our children should die before us. I apologize for this late communication but our thoughts are with you at this sad time. Brian and Janet Wright (from Williston)

Mr.May, I'm not sure you will remember me but you were my confirmation teacher two years ago. There are just no words to express how truly sorry I am for your loss. I remember the time you brought us to your house after our last CCD class and how friendly and welcoming she was. May the many memories of her strenghten you at this very difficult time. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
