Peter B. Dillaway age 62 of Salem, NH, died Sunday at his home.
He was born in Lynn, MA, grew up and was educated in Peabody, MA. He later received his B.A. and Teaching certificate from Northeastern University in Boston.
He was a resident of Salem for the past 7 years, formerly of Topsfield, MA.
Peter was a bookkeeper for Lowe’s in Hooksett, NH. Prior to Lowe's he was in banking and worked for Eastern Savings Bank in Peabody, Lynn, & Salem, MA. He is a past Worshipful Master of the Mount Carmel Masonic Lodge A.F & A.M in Lynn, Ma. He was a member of Rockingham Christian Church in Salem, NH. He was an assistant Scout Master for Boy Scout Troop 81 in Topsfield, MA. He enjoyed hiking, camping, stamp collecting and coin collecting. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
He is survived by his Son: Kevin & his wife Kimberly Dillaway of Salem, NH
Daughter: Christine & her husband John Stein of Hillsdale, NJ

Mark Dillaway of Allentown, PA
1 Sister: Marcia Swift of Middleton, MA
4 Grandchildren: John Jr., Stephanie, Johannah, & Elijah

A memorial gathering will take place Thursday, Dec. 4 from 5-6 PM, followed by a Masonic & Memorial Service at 6 PM at the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St, Salem, NH.
