Kelly and Family, I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your mom. I will keep you all in my prayers. Take care.

I was Donna's visiting nurse for the past several months and grew to become very fond of her. During my visits with her we would get through the "nursing stuff" then just sit and talk about all kinds of things. We had a lot in common. I really enjoyed our visits and I think she did too. I will miss those visits but I know she is in a better place and is no longer suffering. She was a very special lady. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family. Fondly, Chris

Please accept my sincere sympathy on the loss of your dear loved one. I knew Donna as a young woman at Oak Grove in Vassalboro, Maine where I roomed across the hall from her when we were seniors in 1954-1955. It was my pleasure to get to know her as a warm, humerous person. Donna was kind enough to host me in the summer of 1956 when my soon to be husband graduated from the University of Maine.....I needed a place to stay to attend his Commencement Ball and graduation ceremonies. Donna's passing leaves another very large hole in the hearts of all her Oak Grove "sisters". May God help you all through this painful and difficult time.

I was extremely sorry to hear about Donna's passing away. She was a very strong woman with a terrific sense of humor and the most beautiful thick, wavy, red hair I have ever seen! I knew Donna for three years at our boarding school where she was two grades ahead of our class. Whenever you sat at Donna and Dubby's table, you knew it would be an extremely fun, lively time with true, but hilarious stories! Her ability on the computer was a great help when a website was set up for alumni. She will be sadly missed by all. My condolences to all her family members.

Donna was my first roomate at Oak Grove School in Vassalboro, Maine in 1951. I remember her fondly as a warm caring person. It was fun to be around her, and she was part of my special memories of those years at OGS. I only learned of her death through the January 2009 editon of the OGS Newesletter, and my deep sympathy to the entire family I have some old photographs of Donna taken in 1952 should you be interested. Just email me at the above address.
