Obituary

William A. Levy Jr., 62, of Goffstown, NH, died October 13, 2008 at the Catholic Medical Center after a long struggle with heart disease.
He was born in Chelsea, MA, on May 25, 1946, the son of William A. and Margaret (Cox) Levy. He was a graduate of the Everett Vocational High School.
During the Vietnam War era, he served in the US Air Force working as a jet mechanic.
Prior to retirement, he had been employed as a truck driver for Texaco Oil in Chelsea as well as Long Beach, CA.
He was an avid New England Patriots fan and loved spending time with his beloved wife, children, and grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Doreen (Lawler) Levy of Goffstown, originally from Melrose, MA; two children, William A. Levy and his wife Brandi of Manchester and Laura A. Pawling and her husband Richard of Riverside, CA; seven grandchildren, Kyle, Megan, Hannah, Bryce, William IV, Ashley and Aaron; his sisters, Margaret Petrosino and husband Alphonse of Revere, MA, Carole Beaulieu and husband Arthur of Chelsea, and Donna DiPrima and husband Charles of Merrimack, NH; his mother and father-in-law, Shirley and Raymond Lawler of Stoneham, MA; many nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
The funeral service was held Monday, October 20, 2008 in the chapel of the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, Daniel Webster Highway, Boscawen, NH.
