After spending the early years of her marriage raising her boys, she resumed her teaching career and was a substitute teacher in the Needham public schools for over thirty years. Jeanne was high-spirited and independent, and loyal to her many friends, neighbors and relatives. She was proud to tell people of living for 54 years in her house in Needham.
