CONDOLENCES (GuestBook)

Wendy, Geoff, and Sarah We are so sorry for your loss. Hal was such a great and wonderful husband, father and friend. He may have been small in stature but in all our eyes he was a very big man who had the respect and love of so many people. His family always came first and he was so proud of all of you. We wil all deepley miss him as we know you will as well. He fought the good fight to be with you all and he is watching over you now. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all of you. Love Frank, Denise and Christina Miano and the team from NEPS

Hal was a great friend of both of ours and will be greatly missed. He was a wonderful person, a talented professional, and most importantly a devoted husband and father. We both worked with him, and saw strength, grace, and skill in every capacity. He made the workplace and his co-workers better as a result of being around him. Our profound sympathies go out to his terrific family.

Wendy, Geoff, and Sarah, I am so sorry for your loss... Hal was a true friend and trusted colleague. Hal was truly gentle and kind and brilliant, and I will miss his wonderful sense of humor and insights into the human condition. He walked through life with strength, dignity, and grace and was devoted to you. In business, Hal's work was always professional and exemplary, and he was one of those rare individuals that enabled everyone around him to do their best. I will miss him. Please accept my deepest sympathies and prayers.

Wendy, Sara, and Geoff, I can't believe the world has lost another great man. Hal and I were good friends and he made me laugh. The last time I spoke to Hal he told me more stories about you and the kids. He told me how Geoff would go to the bakery to get him his favorite snack, and how Sara kept him laughing and how much he loved his wife. I thought he was going to beat the disease. I believed if anyone could it would be him, and I know he tried. Remember you are in our thoughts and prayers and that the three of you were his entire life. Love Deb,Bob, Cate, Meg and Bobby Schadlick

I know that Hal lived for his family. That is what I will remember. He was passionate about everything in his life including his friends and his work… but he spoke with the most depth and emotion when he was discussing his family. I remember how – when he spoke about his children – about their school, athletics or general activities… how anyone could see his absolute parental pride and love… And beyond that… he showed profound admiration and respect for the people they have become. Goodbye Hal. We will miss you.

I don’t think I’ve ever known a person as gentle and soft spoken, yet so brave, fierce and determined when it came to fighting his illness. I will miss Hal as a friend and fellow professional, as well as his knowledge, experiences and guidance he freely shared. Mark Bonacorso, president, Media Ink.

Hal’s great smile resonates whenever I think of him. In his last few months we had some wonderful conversations about life and death and most importantly, family. His attitude, professionalism and dedication to his family are a great inspiration. Julie and I are blessed to have been a part of Hal’s world. His body may no longer be here but his spirit and charisma will be with Julie and me forever. Andy Plata

My sympathies for the Morrow family are sent today. Hal was a high school friend; his brother Randy and I were in the same class. I will always remember fall mornings walking down Telegraph street with the leaves crunching at our feet. I couldn't speak to Hal because he was so good looking, quiet and always walked ahead of me. I know you will miss him and I will pray for you.

Hal has been a client of ours for many years with GMC and prior. When working with Hal we never felt we were supporting a client, we felt like we were working alongside a friend. He had that type of personality you liked to be around. My thoughts are with his family. I am sure he is smiling down on them.

As a former NEPS colleague, Hal was a good and lovely man, and a pleasure to work with, he will be sadly missed. My sincere condolances, Faye Wallace

I had the pleasure to know and work with Hal for a short four years at GMC, during this time he was this unshakable character who had plenty of tales about his life that was full of expeiences. One thing that will stay with me about Hal was that during any conversation, he would talk about his family and ask about yours. In this busy world, this is a quality that is all too rare and that we can all learn from. He made a real contribution and cared so much about his work, colleagues and company He will be be missed by us all at GMC. Sincerely, Michael Watts.

Gentle, kind, generous, funny, a loving father, a cherished friend, a trusted colleague - as I read these tributes to Hal, these were consistent. Hal has touched so many of us in his lifetime with these qualities. He listened as much as he shared. Wendy, Sarah and Geoff - thanks for sharing him with us! My thoughts and prayers are with you.

It is hard to put into the words the loss I feel at the passing of Hal, he was truly one of the gentleman in the industry. Although I only dealt with him professionally, we did have discussions regarding our families, and you could sense the pride and love he had for them. Incredible, but not surprising, was his tenacity and positive attitude during his illness. This is a truly a loss for the industry, for all those who knew him and all whose lifes he touched. My thoughts and prayers are with his wife Wendy and his children. God bless you and keep you.

I had the priviledge of being coached by Hal through my first of many press breifings @ QMS. His professionalism combined with his quiet and dry humor got me through my initial nervousness. Erik and I enjoyed many of his stories and were blessed to have known him. Wendy, Sara and Geoffrey, Our fond memories, thoughts and prayers are with you in celebrating his life. -Pam

It was with great sadness that I heard of Hal’s passing. During my time working for Hal at APT, he was a terrific boss, patient mentor and good friend. Each day, I use many a valuable lesson taught to me by Hal. My thoughts and prayers go out to Wendy, Geoffrey and Sarah – the three people he treasured most.

I was very sorry to hear of the death of Hal. I first met him quite recently but I had the opportunity to work with him and appreciate his wise vision of the industry. His good will and reliability made him someone it was a pleasure to work with. He was always a cheerful, enthusiastic person whose kindness and gentleness I greatly appreciated. All of my sympathy and best wishes go to his family and loved ones.
