My thoughts and prayers have been with you all week. I have super fond memories of spending many evenings at your house when the boys were little, developing slides and sharing lots of laughs. You both are wonderful examples to us who are younger and I really appreciate you. I'm sorry I can't be there on Tuesday, it will be hard but working in a school it is impossible this time of year to miss a day. I'll have to come see you later on. Hugs and lots of love

I'm the daughter of Robert and Barbara Jean. I'm not sure you remember me; I know your sister Gail. When I heard about Stevie, my heart broke; and I've thought of you so much. When we were all small, our family spent time with the Sanders family. We have wonderful memories. We're so thankful that we know without doubt that God knows best, so we can find comfort in that even when we don't understand.

I have the fondest of memories with Steve, one of the best cousins one could ever have. We had so much fun. He never complained about taking us for snowmobile rides or swimming at Aunt Ruth and Uncle Everett's camp. He was quite the tease and kept us laughing. He even convinced us there were fairies living in the stump in front of Aunt Ruth's house. I had so much admiration for his love of his family and the book that I illustrated for him of the "The biggest Slide". It is truly a cherished keepsake for me. I am
praying for all of you to heal and overcome this terrible loss and tragedy that has come to you. Peace be with you and one day you will all be together again. My Dad (Lloyd Ladd) also is saddened by your loss and sends his condolences as well.

Posted: 9/1/2008 by Rena Coston of Bakersfield, CA, USA Bonnie and family. My thoughts surely are with you at this time. One never knows why such tragic experiences come to us. I remember when my brother was killed at 37 and left a wife and 3 children but it came just after our worker's convention. It was a time when spiritually couldn't have been any stronger. You would feel such comfort also from your recent conventions.
We are so thankful for the Comforter at such times like this and another lesson I learned is that God desires that we could also be Comforters to those in similar experiences.
You can keep Steve alive spiritually because all you shared together of the eternal things as those things never die.
My deepest thoughts are with you. Love and care, gracePosted: 9/1/2008 by Grace O'Keefe of Hanover,, Maryland, USA Dear Bonnie and Family,
