Obituary

BEVERLY: Lori A. (Pinciaro) Cassola, 42, died Sunday, August 24, 2008 in the Massachusetts General Hospital following a brief illness.
Born in Beverly on December 10, 1965 she was the daughter of Robert E. Pinciaro of Beverly and the late Carol A. (LaChance) Pinciaro. She was a lifelong resident of Beverly and a graduate of the Beverly High School class of 1984. Lori continued her education and became a certified muscular therapist, where she worked for the Muscular Therapy for Health and Wellness in Danvers. A loving and devoted mother, she enjoyed the time spent with her children. She also had a passion for the beach and enjoyed spending time with her friends at the former Grappa’s Restaurant in Danvers.
In addition to her father, she is survived by her daughter, Christine J. Cassola, a junior at Beverly High School, and her son, John R. Cassola, a 7th grader at Briscoe Middle School, her brother and sister-in-law, David R. and Trish Pinciaro, aunts and uncles, Barbara and Anthony Dettorre and Henry “Tubby” and Eleanor Pinciaro, her former spouse, Michael J. and his wife, Darlene Cassola and his parents, John and Patricia Cassola all of Beverly, a sister-in-law, Kristin and her husband, James Parisella of Danvers, nieces and nephews, Gina and Nicholas Pinciaro of Beverly and Michael and Gianna Parisella of Danvers, among the several cousins, Paul Dettorre of Boxford and her longtime dear friends, Michelle Rennick, Karen Negron and Lisa Parisella. She was also predeceased by her paternal grandparents, Henry and Ernestine (Pisani) Pinciaro and maternal grandmother, Olga (Kalsas) LaChance.
Her funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday in the St. Mary Star of the Sea Church, Cabot St., Beverly at 11 a.m. Visiting hours will be held prior to the service in the Grondin Funeral Home, 376 Cabot Street, Beverly from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in her memory to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1905 or to the Massachusetts General Hospital, for Medical ICU, Blake 7, c/o Mass General Hospital Development, 165 Cambridge St., Suite 600, Boston, MA 02114. Interment will be held in the St. Mary’s Cemetery, Beverly.
