Matthew C. Heard, 37, passed away on July 2nd, 2008. He was born on April 8th , 1971 to his parents Brian F. and Margaret K. (Campbell) Heard. Matthew was raised in Medford, attended Medford Public Elementary Schools and is a graduate of Pope John High School in Everett, Class of 1989. After graduation, he enrolled at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy where he was a member of the Phi Delta Chi Fraternity. Matt received his degree in 1996 and went on to work as a registered pharmacist at many locations including the Malden Hospital, CVS and Brooks Pharmacy. Along with his parents, Matthew is survived by his brother Andrew C. Heard of Medford; his sister Ellen M. Heard of Medford and by his niece Ryan Alexa Heard. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins. Relatives and friends are invited to attend services from the A.J. Breslin & Son Funeral Home, 610 Pleasant St., Malden at Medford line on Wednesday July 9th at 8 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant St., Malden at 9 AM. Services will conclude with interment in Oak Grove Cemetery in Medford. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4-8 PM.
