Joseph M. DiRienzo – Of Woburn, formerly of West Roxbury, died May 30, 2008. He was 72. He was the beloved husband of Helena E. (Perry) DiRienzo for 51 years.
Born in Boston, he was the son of the late John J. and Antoinette (Pucillo) DiRienzo. He was a longtime resident of West Roxbury before relocating to Woburn. He was a member of the Teamsters Union Local 25 and the Woburn Elks Lodge 908.
He was the devoted father of John J. DiRienzo and his wife Mary, Joseph M., Denise A., and Diane E. DiRienzo all of Woburn, MaryAnn H. Locke and her husband James of Pelham, NH, Donna M. Grasso and her husband Dane of Newton, Paula J. Alker and her husband Dennis of South Dennis, Vincent M. DiRienzo and his wife Linda of Watertown and Michael G. DiRienzo of West Roxbury. Brother of Vincent DiRienzo of Medfield and Mary Halloran of West Roxbury. Also survived by 14 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter.
Funeral from the P.E. Murray-George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home, 2000 Centre St. West Roxbury, Tuesday at 9 AM. Funeral mass in St. Theresa’s Church, West Roxbury at 10 AM. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Visiting hours Monday 4-8 PM. Interment St. Joseph’s Cemetery, West Roxbury.
