Obituary

In Raynham, May 9, 2008, Louis R. Robino died at Life Care Center in Raynham at the age of 91. Born and educated in Taunton Louis was a resident in Taunton all his life and was the son of the late Peter and Santina (DeMarini) Robino. Louis was in the U.S. Army during WWII, after the war he worked for the City of Taunton for the Department of Public Works, Water & Sewer Department. He belonged to the Italian Naturalization Club on Wales Street were he was a Club Historian, also served in the C.C.C., Civilian Conservation Corps. Louis was the Brother of Rita Chase of Norton, Teresa Correia of Taunton and the late Bruno, Charles and Sam Robino. Uncle of Bruce Correia and his wife Gale of Taunton, Gary Correia and his wife Gerrie of East Taunton, Mark Chase and his wife Elena of Taunton, Paulette Mara and her husband Joseph of Taunton, Marilyn Gaeta and her husband Dick of Salem, Ma, Paul Robino and his wife Shelia of Ca, Karen Rempel and her husband Peter of Co, Peter Robino of Taunton, Matthew Chase of R.I., Steve Robino of Mars ton Mills, Jacqueline Coute of Taunton, Elaine Carlos of No. Attleboro and several Great Nieces and Nephews. Funeral from the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington Street in Taunton Tuesday May 13th at 8 am. Funeral Mass at St. Joseph Church in Taunton at 9 am. Calling hours will be held on Monday from 4-8 pm. Interment St. Francis Cemetery in Taunton. Donations in Louis’s memory may be made to Beacon Hospice, 529 Main Street, Boston, Ma, 02129.
