My sincerest condolences to the entire Kilduff Family and all members of Boston Firefighter's Local 718. Bob worked with me when we were members of Ladder Company 29 on "The Avenue, during the war years." At a building fire on Blue Hill Avenue, we were searching for residents. Bob stood up and ran past us into a room, pulled out an overcome victim who was not breathing, and brought him to the outside. He and a member of Engine Company 52 worked on the victim and he started to breathe on his own. Bob saved this man's life! I had a 3-year old grievance against the City that was going nowplace. Bob took my case and within a couple of months he won the grievance for me. Thank you, Bob. You are "home" now. Bob Winston DFC District 8, Retired

It is with much sadness that I learned of the death of my friend and colleague Bob Kilduff this morning. I am a Former President of the International Association of Fire Chiefs and currently serve as the Legislative Director for the Fire Chiefs Association of Mass. It is that role that I worked along side of and got to know and love Bob Kilduff. He was so passionate and dedicated to the Fire Service. Having been stricken with Cancer myself, Bob and I shared a special bond. I am 1500 miles away and unable to attend the services, so I send my thoughts and prayers to Bob's family and Brother Jakes today. He will be sorely missed by me. Bob DiPoli
