In East Taunton, January 22, 2008 John J. Sr. died at the age of 71 after a lengthy illness while surrounded by his family. John was the husband of Patricia (Cosgrove) LePage and the son of the late Joseph & Rosalva (Lachapelle) LePage. John resides in East Taunton was born in Taunton and educated there. He was a graduate of Coyle High School and attended the Montford Ceminary in Long Island, N.Y. and R.I. School of Design. John was a member of the Knights of Columbus 4th degree in St. Paul’s Parish and a recipient of the Marian Medal. John was also a communicant of Holy Family Church in East Taunton. He loved his Harley Davidson, traveling and working on Computers. John was the Owner of the former LePage’s Steakhouse Restaurant in Easton which opened in 1963 and was sold in 1987. John later worked as a bookeeper for Toll Brothers Construction Co. until recently when his health worsened. Besides his wife Patricia he leaves his three children John LePage Jr. of Taunton, Michelle Maher & her husband Robert of Taunton and Laurie-Anne White & her husband David of Berkley. His Grandchildren Corinne LePage, Renee, Robert Maher all of Taunton, Jeanette, Daniel and Timothy White all of Berkley. John was the brother of Vivian Roderick and the late Sylvia LaFrance and Francis LePage. Funeral from the O’Keefe-wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington St. in Taunton on Sat., Jan. 26th at 9am. followed by Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Family Church in East Taunton at 10am. Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours Friday from 4-8pm. Interment in St. Francis Cemetery in Taunton.
