Lawrence, MA – Gilbert Gagnon, 67 of Lawrence died Friday at the Lahey Clinic in Burlington, MA.
Born and educated in Canada, Gilbert and his wife Marcelle moved to the United States in his early 20’s to start a family.
He was the son of the late Joseph and Irene (Beaulieu) Gagnon.
For more than 34 years he worked at Crown Cork and Seal in Lawrence, MA. Gilbert also owned and operated Gilbert Gagnon Concrete Works for many years.
Gilbert was a member of St. Monica’s Parish.
Gilbert is survived by his wife of 37 years Marcelle (Cote) Gagnon of Lawrence, one daughter Barbara Gagnon of Lowell, MA, one son Stephan Gagnon of Haverhill, three brothers Fernand Gagnon of Londonderry, Jean-Guy Gagnon of Lawrence and Jacques Gagnon of Lawrence. Three grandchildren Alex Cambray of Lowell, Ma, Karissa Gagnon and Breanna Christian Gagnon of Salem, NH.
Arrangements:
Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Tuesday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Pollard Funeral, 233 Lawrence Street, Methuen MA .
Funeral mass will take place on Wednesday at 9:000 AM at St. Monica’s Church in Methuen. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
