What an outstanding lady Ms. Rosemary was. She will definitely be missed and always remembered. I have fond, fond memories from the short time I spent w/ her.

Dr. Rosemary was so dignified and every bit a lady. She was loved by multitudes and will be missed by all who loved and knew her. I know heaven is filled with rejoicing as she is reunited with her family who went on before her.

My father, Barney Rozier was Miss Rosemary's first cousin, her father and my grandmother, Capie Johnson were sister and brother. She was such a community Giant and certainly left her mark on society. I am very proud to be in her lineage.

We were saddened to learn that Dr. Rosemary Johnson had passed away. Grady and I were both students of Ms. Johnson and we both held her in high esteem. She definitely made a positive impression on our lives. Our prayers are with the family and frinds of Rosemary during this time.

Rosemary Johnson was my 12th grade English teacher and is the reason I, too, became an English teacher. I am very grateful for all she did for me. She was a wonderful English teacher.

I graduated from Tift County High School in 1964. I never had Miss Rosemary as a teacher but she was a friend of my mother and daddy, Raymond and Lillian Brooks (both teachers) It seems like she was always in my life growing up. I really felt like she was a special person even though I never told her so.

Rosemary Johnson is smiling at the angels, I'm sure. She was a kind and encouraging influence when I moved to Tifton as a 16 year old. All who have been touched by her are better for it. Please accept my heartfelt condolences.

To the family of Rosemary Johnson, I was very sad to hear about the passing of Ms. Rosemary today and I wanted to let her family know what an impact she had on my life. Ms. Rosemary knew me most of my life and took an active interest in my accomplishments and plans especially during my high school and college years. Ms. Rosemary took a lot of time with me and my family as I struggled with issues during my first years of college and she made sure I was aware of every opportunity available to me. She was always sure to greet you with a smile and let you know that she was there for you. I will never forget Ms. Rosemary or the dramatic effect she had on my life. I credit her for making my successes possible in many ways. She was one of the best examples of a truly independent, successful, and professional woman and she proved that serving others was both rewarding and our responsibility. The world will not be the same without her, but it was truly changed by her presence. May God give you peace in your loss and give you assurance that she is serving with His angels now (as all earthly angels should).

I will always remember Rosemary Johnson's dedication to English and to her students. She had the ability actually to make the study of the mechanics of grammar intriguing and exciting. I had 12th grade English with her in 1955-56, and she was in large part responsible for my entry into the science of Linguistics -- a study I have pursued for over 35 years as a professor at the University of Kansas. Thank you so very much!

A life long friend, who I held in high regard, and tremendous respect. Contributed to a better life for so many students. Her enthusiasm and ability to motivate others will be greatly missed, but long remembered.

She will certainly be missed by those of us who knew her. As a dedicated educator, she served as a fine example of servant leadership.

What a beautiful person Rosemary was, inside and out. We (John Wimberley & Helen)have known her since 1968. Roxanne was our only baby then, and they took to her as their grandchild. He would say "Grandpa Johnson and Grandma Maggie Johnson" We lived in their apartments upstairs. They lived below us. We were blessed to know such a wonderful family. Grandpa Johnson always came upstairs to take Roxanne to visit with them. She was six months old. Rosemary always came home for lunch. Ms Maggie would have her some bread puddin' made. We had only been married one & a half years. Our deepest sympathy from all of us. We now have 2 more girls. 4 grandchildren. We loved you Rosemary. I feel very sad. You are such a great loss.526733 John, Helen, Roxanne Perry (Matthew & Ashley) Michelle Sylvester (John S) Amanda (Lola)
