Cannon, Gregory J. of Quincy originally from Sudbury, January 12, 2008. The beloved husband of 25 years of Carol Beers Cannon of Quincy. Son of Earl & Elaine Cannon of Plymouth. Brother of Dennis and Jean Cannon of Merrimac, N.H., Richard and Betty Cannon of Bridgewater and Christine and Ed Dixson of Scituate. Son in law of Richard Beers of FL and the late Mary Beers. Brother in law of Eric & Jennifer Beers of Quincy and Lisa Beers of FL. Gregory is also survived by many nieces, nephews and godchildren.
In his youth, Greg played many years with the Natick Comets. He was the captain of the hockey and lacrosse teams at Nicholas College. He holds the dual county league record for the two fastest hockey goals. Greg enjoyed golfing & fishing and NASCAR. He was considered everyones best friend. He enjoyed entertaining and was a most generous host. He was a devoted husband and cherished friend to so many. He will missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a memorial visitation on Wednesday, January 16 in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY from 4- 7pm. A reception will follow.
