Dianna E. Sumner, 38, of Fitzgerald, died Saturday, December 8, 2007 at the Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany.
Funeral Services will be held 2 P.M., Tuesday, December 11, at the Ocilla Church of God with the Rev. Clayton Dowd officiating. Eulogy will be given by her daughter: LeeAnn Mack. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 Monday evening at the funeral home in Fitzgerald.
Mrs. Sumner was born October 18, 1969 in Fernandina Beach, Florida to Eva Mae Crawford Thomas. She had lived most of her life in the community and was a Licensed Practical Nurse at the River Willows Nursing Home in Abbeville. She was a graduate of the nursing program at East Central Technical College. She was a loving Mother and Grandmother, who loved fishing and boating. She was a member of the Ocilla Church of God.
Mrs. Sumner is survived by her husband: Tim Sumner of Fitzgerald; daughter and fiancée: LeeAnn Mack and David Grice of Fitzgerald; one granddaughter: Ona Eve Mack of Fitzgerald; her mother: Eva Thomas of Fitzgerald; three brothers: Randy Mack and John Allen Mack both of Blackshear and Kevin Mack of Broxton; as well as several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Sumner was preceded in death by a daughter: Sheena Johnson.
