Paula M. Scungio of Mathewson Street, Cranston, a retired receptionist for St. Elizabeth Home, died Monday, November 19, 2007 at Rhode Island Hospital. She was the wife of Raymond A. Scungio.
Born in Providence, a daughter of the late John & Pauline (Ciano) Guerra and stepdaughter of Margaret Guerra of Spring Hill, FL. She had been a resident of Cranston for 60 years. She enjoyed knitting and sewing.
Besides her husband and stepmother, she is survived by two sons, Raymond P. Scungio of Cranston and John C. Scungio of Coventry, four grandchildren and two sisters, Barbara Reis of North Providence and Maria Sickel of Cumberland.
Funeral Saturday at 8:00 am from the *ANDERSON-WINFIELD Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. A Requiem Eucharist at 9:00 am in St. Thomas Episcopal Church, Rt 44, Greenville. Burial will be private. Visitation Friday 4-7pm. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to D.P.A.W., 23 Larkspur Road, Warwick, RI 02886.
