Brownie will be greatly missed. He was a wonderful man that could always make me laugh. Doris, you and the rest of the beloved family, are in my prayers. I am sure that Brownie is sitting just inside the pearly gates with a smile on his face. (probably looking for the phone booth to check for spare change) I look forward to seeing him again one day. Love and Prayers - Tina Sikma and family

To Len Crawford and his family: WOW!!! I should have known that a man as unique as Len Crawford would come from the stock of a man like Brownie Crawford. What a guy. I just wish I could have known Brownie in this life, but most assuredly, I look forward to meeting him when I am taken home to be with God. Len, you are so blessed to have a father like Brownie. After reading his obituary, I can see so much of him in you. I am sorry that I cannot be there for the funeral services today, but I hope and pray that it will be a time of great celebration of a life well lived. Ted Day, Jr.

Water Valley, MS,
Mrs. Dorris, Mrs. Lorrie, Joeli, Cory, and the continued Crawford family, Just wanted to express our love and compassion upon your family during this time of mourning. Browning was exceptionally close to our family and especially our Betty, and made a great impact on so many people in this community. I'll always remember him making me and Cory sell fresh corn from a homemade stand set outside Crawford and Associates. He taught us his "business sense" right then and there, in the Mississippi summer heat. I've tried to gather words to decribe him and "Amazing", "Classic", "Hilarious", "Driven" and "Generous" all come to mind. Brownie's legacy will echo throughout this town and community and within our hearts forever. You all are in our family's prayers and thoughts. We love you all.
