Dear Kay and Family, I was saddened to hear about John's passing. He was such a wonderful husband and father, I know he will be missed, though I am sure you take great comfort in knowing he is no longer suffering. I am sorry I cannot be there with you during your time of grief, but I am recovering from an unexpected triple bypass. Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers. Love, Marge

This is late in coming, so my apology for that, but I wish to extend my condolences for your loss. John helped me a great deal over a number of years while tracing my family genealogy. Most of our contact was by mail and Internet, but we spoke on the phone once or twice some year’s back. He seemed like such a wonderful person and was so kind with his generous help in understanding the background of the Carrigg name. He even sent me pictures of Carigafoyle Castle in Ireland. His help was immeasurable and I was sorry to read of his passing when I came across his obituary on line. I wish our genealogy lines were closer as I would have enjoyed knowing him more.
