Obituary

James F. “Jim” Cipullo, 69, Of Marshfield, Oct 11, Beloved husband of Francis (Litchfield) Cipullo. Father of James F. Cipullo Jr. and his wife Brenda of Kingston. Loving grandfather of Kyle and Jake. Brother of Du Cipullo of Marstons Mills, Leonard Cipullo of Carver, Richard Cipullo of So. Yarmouth, the late Louis, Caroline, Josephine, Marjorie and Alphonse. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Jim attended Weymouth Vocational Technical High school where he discovered an aptitude for auto mechanics and later an Army veteran working in the motor pool. He was best known as manager of South Shore Auto Parts in Marshfield and Scituate for 32 years. Jim was active in town politics, assisting with the campaigns for numerous local politicians and was a fixture at Marshfield town meetings. He hosted his own cable access talk show “Our Town”, allowing residents a forum to discuss their thoughts and concerns about Marshfield. He loved children and was previously Cubmaster of pack 212 and a contributor to Marshfield’s Community Christmas and Thanksgiving programs. Jim was an accomplished drummer, performing with the trio the 3 Coins as a drummer and vocalist, and later with his brothers in the Cipullo 5. Jim was also an instructor at Massasoit Community College where he taught auto mechanics. Former member of Marshfield Sons of Italy.
Funeral from the MacDonald Funeral Home 1755 Ocean St (Rte 139) Marshfield Monday at 9:30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass in St Christine’s Church, Marshfield at 10:30.
Visiting hours Sunday 2:00 to 6:00 PM.
Interment will be in the MA, National Cemetery Bourne, MA. Monday at 12:30.
