Obituary



PROVIDENCE - Joan (Vieira) Fuller, 69, of Westport died Saturday, September 29, 2007 at Women and Infants Hospital. She was the wife Emil A. Fuller.

Born in Fall River, daughter of Nora (Kupiec) Vieira of Westport and the late Antone P. Vieira, she had lived in Westport for the past 32 years.

She was a communicant of Our Lady of Grace Church, Westport where she served as an Eucharistic minister and was a member of the Senior Citizens Club and former Our lady of Grace Church Couples Club. Mrs. Fuller had been employed by the Westport Community Schools as an executive secretary at the Alice E. Macomber School. She was a member of the Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary-Chapter 118 and the Westport Woman’s Club where she held the position of Treasurer for many years. A graduate of B.M.C. Durfee high school, class of 1956, Mrs. Fuller was a craft artisan who loved to travel and spend time with her family.

In addition to her husband and mother she is survived by 1 daughter: Deborah L. Fuller D.M.D. of South Kingstown, RI and her husband Brian D. Gaudette D.M.D.; 1 sister: Josephine Vieira of Westport; 2 grandchildren: Alexa L. Gaudette and Eric D. Gaudette; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited to attend will be Wednesday at 9:00 A.M. from the Potter Funeral Home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Grace Church, Westport at 10:00 A.M.

Interment in Oak Grove Cemetery, Fall River.

Calling hours will be Tuesday 2-4 & 6-8 P.M.
