Jeanne L. (DeVirgilio) Flanagan, 62, of Rochester died December 8, 2006 at Tobey Hospital after a long illness.
She was the wife of William J. Flanagan with whom she shared 40 years of marriage.
Born in Roxbury, she lived in Plainville, MA most of her life before moving to Rochester 2 years ago.
Mrs. Flanagan was a communicant of St. Rose of Lima Church in Rochester.
She was formerly employed as a registered nurse at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro for many years.
Survivors include her husband; her parents, Louis and Emma Rose (Iarrobino) DeVirgilio of Walpole; 3 sons, Bill Flanagan, Jr., and his wife Ann Marie, of Douglas, Paul Flanagan of Bourne and Tim Flanagan of Santa Barbara, CA; 2 daughters, Patty Flanagan, and her husband Brian Pear, of Moodus, CT and Donna Flanagan of Fullerton, CA; a brother, Richard DeVirgilio of Hull; 2 sisters, Chana Solomon of Lapine, Oregon and Janice DeVirgilio of Attleboro; 4 grandchildren, Brian, Sean and Lauren Flanagan and Olivia Pear; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Saunders-Dwyer Mattapoisett Home For Funerals, 50 County Rd. (Rt.6) Mattapoisett Monday, December 11th at 9 AM. Funeral Mass at St. Rose of Lima Church, Rochester at 10 AM. Interment St. Anthony's Cemetery, Mattapoisett. Visiting hours Sunday, December 10th from 4-8 PM.
