I have not seen Denise in 25 years but still feel a deep sadness from her death. I know she touched many hearts in Central Illinois while growing up here. Her friends from not so long ago are grief stricken by her death. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family in Central Illinois and in Boston. She made us all proud... We both attended Eastern Illinois University and were roomates and sorority sisters. I had lost touch with her over the years but never with the great memories.
